The Mixtape Projects
In 2020, at the beginning of the Pandemic, I started a project. For an entire year, I send out one little mixtape album a week to friends and loved ones. These music mixes helped me process what was going on in the world, and to stay connected in the face of lockdowns and distances. Each mix was created on a different, usually timely, theme.
A new monthly mixtape project on the theme of Resistance started in March 2025, and is ongoing.

* Notes: Pandemic mix number 12 is missing, as I sent out a list of podcasts and projects amplifying Black voices in lieu of music that week; instead of Pandemic mix 41, I shared several older mixes of Christmas music; the "Together" mix was compiled entirely from songs suggested by friends.
